  • Triathlon Training Plans Will Push Your Body In Several Ways!

It’s the new year and it’s the time for making changes, which means it’s time for taking your body and transforming it into the powerfully mobile body you’ve always wanted. Stop salivating over ads that show people with “rock-hard bods,” not when you can dive into a triathlon and turn your body into the very thing you desire. Triathlons typically encompass several different stages in a competition that’s composed of hundreds of people. It is one of the most prolific things you can do for your body and mind, as it often gives people an entirely different perspective on life. It involves running, cycling, and swimming in a number of various distances. Each component creates its own challenges, as it will make the contender choose how to approach it and the way it impacts the body.

One of our fabulous Triathlon Training Programs is our Olympic Distance Race, Intermediate: 4.75 to 7 hrs/wk - Crash Plan. The overall mission of this plan is to finish an Olympic Distance Triathlon in a time of three to four hours. The training of this Triathlon Training Program encompasses six continuous weeks. This plan will push the trainee to swim at a pace of 2 to 3 minutes per 100 meters. The bike side of the race will employ the trainee to average 15 to 18 miles per hour, making for some heavy duty bike training sessions. Your legs will start to feel some serious heat and form some serious muscle throughout your cycle training sessions.

The last part of the race training involves running, which can be just as tough as the cycling. Our program will assume you can run at an average of 10 to 12 minutes a mile. With a few minutes of transition time between each component, you should be at a completion time of anywhere between three to four hours. It has a built-in preview plan that will help you gently build into the heavier duty weeks to come.
